Responsible chemical stewardship

How Nantong Jienuo Chemical approaches safer, compliant and more responsible chemical supply — set out as our commitment and working practice, not as a claim of certification.

Our commitments

Four working practices that govern how we make, document and ship our products. We describe them as practice, not as certified results — the evidence sits with the documents on this page.

01 · SAFE HANDLING

Classify, label, qualify

Products are classified by hazard, with safety data sheets and on-pack labelling. For restricted downstream uses we check customer qualifications before supply rather than after.

02 · COMPLIANT EXPORT

Screen by destination

Each export order is screened for the destination market's requirements (EU REACH, US TSCA where they apply), with hazardous-goods logistics planned around the product's properties.

03 · CONTROLLED PRODUCTION

Traceable batches

Checks from incoming raw material through finished goods, with records that let a batch be traced. Non-conforming material is isolated; parameters and procedures are documented.

04 · HONEST REPORTING

Open about limits

If a claim cannot be backed by our own evidence, we say so. For specifics on a product or order, we answer with the documentation we actually have — no marketing in place of evidence.

Our stance

Chemicals must be made and moved responsibly. We treat safe handling, regulatory compliance and clear communication as baseline requirements of doing business, not optional extras. This page explains the practices we follow today; it does not assert that we hold specific environmental certifications, and any certificate is confirmed case by case with the customer and the relevant authority.

Safe and compliant handling

We classify products by their hazards and communicate those hazards to customers through product safety documentation and on-pack labelling. For regulated or hazardous items we provide safety data sheets and mark storage, handling and emergency information clearly, so the material is used and stored as intended. Where a downstream use is restricted, we check customer qualifications before supply rather than after.

Compliant export and logistics

Selling across multiple regions means respecting different rule sets. We screen export orders for the destination market's requirements — for example EU REACH and US TSCA where they apply — and we plan transport around the product's properties, using compliant carriers and, where needed, hazardous-goods logistics with leak-proof and temperature-controlled packaging. The aim is that a shipment arrives complete, correctly documented and safe to handle.

Responsible manufacturing and quality

We apply checks through production, from incoming raw material checks to finished-goods testing, and we keep records that let a batch be traced. Good housekeeping in the plant — controlled parameters, isolated non-conforming material, and documented procedures — is how we protect both product consistency and the people who make and use the product.

Continuous improvement

We look for steadier, cleaner ways to make and package our products: reviewing processes for lower waste and energy use, preferring safer raw materials where performance allows, and reducing packaging where it does not compromise safety. These are ongoing efforts rather than achieved targets, and we describe them to customers as our practice, not as certified results.

Packaging and transport responsibility

Most risk in a chemical product shows up after it leaves the plant, so we treat packaging and transport as part of the product, not an afterthought. We choose pack sizes and materials that suit the product's hazard class, label them to the relevant standard, and seal-test liquid packs before they move. For temperature-sensitive or hazardous goods we specify the conditions in writing and work with carriers equipped to hold them. The test of responsible supply is a drum that arrives intact, correctly marked and safe to open, with the paperwork matching the contents.

Open about limits

We would rather be precise than impressive. If a sustainability claim cannot be backed by our own evidence, we will say so and point you to the documentation we do have. For specifics on a product or order, ask our team and we will answer with what we can actually show.
